Fitter (Inflatables)

JOB PURPOSE

Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks to a range of aircraft safety related products such as escape slides, life rafts and associated parts. Working to written instructions within a team environment.

ROLES & RESPONISIBILITIES
- The ability to keep up with a physically demanding job
- A good level of literacy to be able to follow technical instructions
- A can-do attitude who is self-motivated
- Fault finding/ Inspection skills
- Effectively managing diary and work load to keep to tight deadlines
- Happy to work alone and also in a team
- Strong communicator

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- Previous experience of working in a workshop (highly desirable)
- Previous experience working with hand tools
- The ability to keep up with a physically demanding job
