Sewing Machinist

**Job description**

Industrial Sewing Machinists are required to work for a manufacturer company based in the Padiham area.

Immediate starts are available.

Previous experience is required but full training will be provided to you as part of the induction and on-boarding process.

Duties will include;
- Sewing rubber items
- Checking quality
- Working with various types of machines
- General production duties

Rate: £10.80

This role is working from 5pm-10pm

**Key areas**:

- Ensure paperwork is completed correctly throughout the processing procedure.
- To communicate effectively with other operators to ensure production targets are met.
- To identify quality issues and defects to prevent further defective products being produced
- To comply with the company health and safety policy

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £10.80 per hour

- 8 hour shift

- Padiham, Lancashire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Machinist: 1 year (preferred)
