W are looking to appoint an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant

Duties and responsibilities attached to this post are as follows:
SEMH Teaching Assistant

1. Support SEMH students to access the mainstream curriculum as part of, and following, alternative provision interventions.

2. Act as a key worker for students with an EHCP.

3. Prepare and complete Annual Review/Transition paperwork, ISPs, strategy sheets and attend annual review / PIP review meetings. Generic roles 1. Develop individual students’ skills including language, communication, social skills, and positive management of behaviour. 2. Assist assigned pupils within the mainstream setting (this includes in mainstream classrooms and in all other areas of the school inside and outside of lesson times). 3. Accompany assigned pupils on out of school activities (to be negotiated if outside school hours), some breaks and part of lunch may be necessary.

4. Communicate with parents/ carers, teachers and other professionals as required.

5. Support teachers and students with the differentiation of work.

6. Take part in in-service training, relevant performance management arrangements and other meetings as required.

7. Provide information that supports the preparation, monitoring and review of ISPs and to action appropriate tasks from the ISPs.

8. Other appropriate duties as reasonably required by the Line Manager

**Salary**: £80.00-£100.00 per day
