Purpose of the role:
The main focus of this role is to drive the sales of our communication programmes and partner-building of potential clients. Experienced and motivated, you'll be a great communicator with experience of developing and implementing sales strategies using a variety of channels. We are looking for someone strategic and relational, who is able to connect with the market, demonstrating the value of what Connectforce are offering and an ability to translate that into sales.

Perhaps you have previously sold training courses for a not-for-profit organisation, or are taking your first step into the not-for-profit sector, but have a strong track record in meeting sales targets in the commercial sector.

This is an opportunity to play a role in an initiative that seeks to make a real difference. Connectforce is a fresh-faced, young Community Interest Company who is looking to expand its programmes and network. Details of the role:

- Freelance/Fixed Contract (part-time) 16-20 hours per week
- Based in Camden Town, with some working from home.
- Hybrid working (we can offer flexible working arrangements)
- Reporting to the Directors
- Salary to be further discussed in the interview based on experience and skills
- Start date: ASAP

Main Responsibilities:

- **Setting up and developing income generation processes**_
- Establishing CRM database
- Working with Directors to realise, create and implement effective income generation plans to meet agreed targets and increase sustainable income for the organisation, whilst supporting Connectforce’s ambitious 5-year growth plans.
- **Take on day-to-day responsibility for commissions**_
- Grow a strong pipeline of potential sales leads from commissioners (local authorities, social services, police, voluntary sector organisations) nationally, through effective networking and promotional activities, to meet ambitious targets;
- Respond to training enquiries in a timely fashion, tracking enquiries and successful completions to provide up-to-date projections;
- Develop Connectforce marketing materials relating to our professional training delivery, and use social media and online networks to promote our training for professionals;
- Update database to ensure timely and appropriate recording of communications and activities;
- Take responsibility for contracts alongside your line manager, supporting and developing stakeholder relationships;
- Work with the Connectforce artist manager to develop relevant and appropriate training sessions based on the bespoke needs of the organisation;
- Ensure programmes receive appropriate support and resources.
- **Innovate new income generation projects**_
- Work with the directors to realise and pilot their intended new income generation projects, showcasing our unique duality in offering unique training services and Corporate Social Responsibility offering through opportunities to link arts professionals to those who would benefit from confidence and communication programmes.

Other responsibilities
- Participate in weekly full team meetings;
- Be involved in policy and strategy development days, ensuring a ‘bottom up’ approach to service and organisational design;
- Support internal communications by sharing information and feedback up and down the layers of the organisation's hierarchy - ensuring that artists and other stakeholders are informed and consulted.
- **Monitoring and Evaluation**_
- Maintain monitoring, evaluation and reporting requirements of commercial activity under your remit, to support accurate financial reporting and projections;
- Update Google sheets databases to ensure timely and appropriate recording of communications and activities;
- Respond to quality assurance and progress monitoring requirements;
- Contribute to Board reports and updates where required.
