Our client, a City based insurance company, are looking for a Ceded Reinsurance Lead. This role will involve providing technical/management support to the Ceded Reinsurance function covering Facultative, Proportional & Non-Proportional Treaty and includingthe preparation of financial bookings, reinsurer documentation and various Regulatory Returns.
Applicants should have prior reinsurance experience within either a Lloyd's Syndicate or Insurer. Experience of LORS and/or XLPro would be useful.

**Responsibilities**:
Ceded calculations for Facultative, XOL and quota share premium and claims for financial bookings (month end/quarter end/year end).
Rendering all XOL deposits and premium adjustments in accordance with contractual terms.
Maintaining accrual process for XOL premium adjustments.
Rendering all Quota Share periodic statements in accordance with contractual terms.
Monitoring ageing debt of receivables on a monthly basis.
Ensure all ceded claims are reported in line with contractual terms and action any reinsurer queries.
Monitor reinsurance recoverable balance on a quarterly basis.
Preparation of any regulatory reporting including Lloyd's returns, group reporting, terrorism pools.
Manage & train junior members of the reinsurance team.
Managing relationships with Claims, Actuarial & Finance.
