**Taxation Specialist**

A fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading independent financial advisory and wealth management firms.

As an expert in both UK Personal and Corporate taxation matter, this role will act as a consultancy service within the business, keeping advisers and clients informed about new tax laws and requirements, educating them about various financial issues, sothat they can make informed decisions about their specific tax related issues, and providing specialist communications for internal and external use.

**Key Responsibilities as our Taxation Specialist will include**:

- To establish and maintain a consultancy and helpline within the business for advisers, existing and new clients on all matters relating to UK taxation covering both personal and small business corporate taxation.
- Act as a specialist on the taxation of trusts.
- Provide training and support to advisers and clients to deliver better-informed financial planning advice to our clients.
- Manage and deliver updates using a variety of media, focusing on tax changes and opportunities that arise out of the UK taxation system.

**What we are looking for in our ideal Taxation Specialist**:

- Expected to be educated to a degree or above standard.
- Ideally, have experience either directly in the taxation industry or indirectly through work and experience derived in the financial services sector.
- Outgoing and articulate with great presentation skills.
- A good trainer able to command respect in presentations.
- A problem solver who can identify solutions for both personal and corporate business and personal cases.
