Wood Process & Energy is recruiting for a FMECA Planner at a client site based in Redcar for a period of 6 months.

We are looking for a maintenance technician with either mechanical, electrical or instrumentation experience (with some knowledge of the other trades) that is able to work with minimum supervision to review different types of preventative maintenance routines, carry out site visits, capable of creating job steps and work packs in SAP.

- Review work orders to determine if work order is acceptable
- Determine if an archived plan exists and is acceptable
- Perform on Site planning
- Identify job steps & sequences
- Create and keep updated a task tracking system
- Create detailed Maintenance job packs
- Elaborate the work plans (operational requirements, PTW etc.)
- Elaborate and circulate detailed instructions for the performance of the work
- Adjust and update the scope of work if necessary
- Develop and maintain CMMS maintenance plans for the assigned equipment
- Provide all necessary instructions, tooling, and parts for the maintenance tasks to be carried out by the maintainers
- Implement and maintain the planning guidelines

Technical background, time served (either Mechanical, Electrical or Instruments)
- Relevant planning skills.
- Ability to read and understand drawings.
- Good SHE awareness.
- Enhanced IT skills (SAP, Microsoft project etc.).
- Basic leadership qualities.
- Credibility with peers, operations/Eng. team and contractors.
- High concern for standards (SHE, TMP’s, trade skills and commercial etc.).
- Proactive with a high level of self-motivation.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Problem Solving.
- Good report writing, communication and meeting skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Good influencing skills.
- High level of personal resilience.

- ILM Level 3
- HNC engineering
