**Hours**:Part time, up to 30 hours Monday to Friday

**Pay rate**:£18.19

The successful applicant will have significant MSK experience and will have the opportunity to work as an autonomous practitioner responsible for their own caseload alongside providing specialist advice to colleagues concerning the care or treatment of patients.The postholder will perform advanced physiotherapeutic assessment, provide a diagnosis, and develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme to patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions.

**Examples of Responsibilities**:

- To play an active role in the effective delivery of the PhysioDirect service both on the phone and face to face
- To devise and deliver specialised programmes of care for patients and communicate treatment details to patients, carers, and members of the multi-disciplinary team
- To monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Physiotherapy intervention and modify as appropriate
- To participate in the development of evidence based protocols; implementation and evaluation of evidence-based policies, clinical guidelines, and pathways of care using national guidelines as a basis for locally agreed policy
- To take delegated responsibility from Seniors for the management of patients with particular conditions and be responsible for providing specialist physiotherapy and treatment plans for patients with these conditions
- To constantly evaluate own knowledge and practice through the utilisation and appraisal of a wide variety of evidence
- Be HCPC registered
- Have previous NHS experience
- Have MSK experience
- Practice in accordance with the professional, ethical, and legal codes of the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), and Trust and NHS protocols and guidelines
- Be able to work independently and as part of a wider MDT knowing when to seek advice from highly specialist therapists for complex cases
- Have strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal including barriers to communication; able to communicate information that may be sensitive or distressing appropriately
