Ipswich and East Suffolk Community Hospitals have had an agreement to extend the core in-patient Therapy service to be available over seven days a week for a further 12 months ending 31 March 2024.

This means that we have opportunities for 12 month fixed-term contracts across Agenda for Change banding levels 4, 5 and 6. The core hours are 08:30-16:30 Monday to Friday with working one weekend in either in three or four weeks depending on the site and incudes Bank Holiday cover.

Ipswich and East Suffolk Community Hospitals include Bluebird Lodge (Ipswich), Aldeburgh Community Hospital and Felixstowe Community Hospitals working in close partnership with the Ipswich Acute Hospital and as part of the wider ESNEFT NHS Trust

There will also be support and a close working relationship with the Integrated Neighbourhood Team (INT) managers based at Aldeburgh and Felixstowe initially.

This is also a wonderful secondment or rotational opportunity for enthusiastic Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistant Practitioners already employed within the organisation who are keen to explore working in the community hospital setting within a robust rehabilitation and reablement ethos and looking for promotional opportunities.
