**Purpose of the Post**

Raby Estates comprises substantial landholdings and trading operations in Co. Durham and Shropshire that are owned by Lord Barnard.

Raby Estates business operations cover leisure and tourism, in-hand farming, let farms and residential property. Property maintenance and refurbishments are covered by time served tradesmen and skilled labourers.

The Working Foreman/Joiner will have excellent communication skills, a good eye for detail, and be willing and flexible to undertake all challenges expected on a rural estate in Shropshire. The role will also include the supervision of a small in hand maintenance team and external contractors.

The position is offered on a permanent basis and provides a rare opportunity to work on a diverse landed estate property portfolio on a traditional yet forward thinking Estate.

**What we need to see**

A time served tradesman, you should be able to demonstrate practical experience and skills in traditional joinery techniques.

Previous experience of working on traditional Estate buildings is advantageous.
