**Principal Objectives**:

- Working on commercial clients' sites laying the foundations for electric vehicle charge points, installing ducting, plinths for electrical equipment, kerbing, excavation, reinstatement, etc
- Working on various sites throughout the UK
- Working on PFS and Non-PFS sites

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work with project managers to understand the installation requirements for each site.
- Working from design documents to build plinths and install ducting to exact requirements
- Work with other trades both in-house and subcontractors, to ensure the program of work is adhered to.
- Ensure the highest SHEQ standards are enforced.
- Work with site managers to ensure materials are delivered to site on time and works keep to schedule
- Work with our ICP teams
- Work to CDM regulations
- Travel throughout the UK

**Skills & Abilities Required for This Position (Essential)**:

- Experienced civil engineer who has worked on similar projects
- Experience working in public high-traffic areas
- Understand and interpret site drawings to install to an exact requirement
- Understand site surveys to ensure avoidance of buried services
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good planning & organisational skills
- Good problem solving skills with ability to deal with multiple issues simultaneously and to a conclusion
- Good communicator - ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Flexible with regard to hours and travel - usual hours of 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
- Self-motivated with enthusiasm
- Team player
- CAT & Genny trained
- CSCS card holder

**Skills & Abilities Required (Desirable)**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Industry background/experience highly desirable
- UKPIA/SPA accredited - highly desirable
- NRSWA Street works qualified either Supervisor or Operative
- Experience working on petrol forecourt sites - extremely desirable
- Excavator trained to CPCS A58 or equivalent or NPORS equivalent
- H&S Safety qualification IOSH or NEBOSH
- SMSTS or SSSTS qualification desirable
- First Aid trained

- Salary range - £35,000 to £40,000
