Samples Technician

Here at Alexander Steele Recruitment we are working in partnership with a global food manufacturer who supply quality products to some of the worlds biggest food brands. We are supporting the R&D team to find a Samples Technician for their state of the artsite in Bedfordshire.

**The Role**: Reporting to the Development Manager, the Samples Technician will be responsible for supporting and assisting the Development Team with sample prep for internal and external stakeholders.

Key accountabilities will include;
- Making, packing and despatching samples.
- Responsibility for ordering, storing and rotation of ingredients.
- Cleaning and sanitising duties and ensuring care of equipment.
- Building and maintaining close working relationships with development technologists, project managers, development chefs and other technicians within the R&D and Development team.
- Have an understanding of the importance of project importance and deadlines.
- Experience working in a similar environment is desirable
- Passionate about food development
- Be able to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleaning for lab and kitchen equipment.
