**Deans bakery is looking for a Baking Assistant to join our team in Preston**

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Prepare breads and pastries for sale by mixing wet ingredients and baking the dough, which includes rolling, shaping, baking, and baking off.**
- Prepare fresh dough for breading and freezing.
- Cleaning up the kitchen including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning the ovens, cleaning the kitchen sink, washing dishes, glassware, etc.
- Assist the manager in opening and closing up the store. This includes locking up all equipment after each use and making sure all items are stored safely away.

Experience**:At least one year of experience working in a bakery setting preferred.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 -28 per week

**Salary**: From £10.90 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Preston: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Baking: 1 year (required)
