Job Specification:
This is a field-based role, working exclusively at our clients customers’ premises as part of a small team of field-based technicians.

The key functions of this role are:

- Installation of new machinery in accordance with technical specifications, drawings and health and safety regulations.
- Commissioning, start-up and testing of machines and systems
- Maintenance of existing machinery, this will include assembling and fitting machine parts.
- Assembly of mechanical and electrical, hydraulic and pneumatics
- Electro-mechanical troubleshooting
- Completion of accurate maintenance and service records
- Providing customer support assistance by telephone
- Spare parts management

Person Specification

This role will ideally suit a person with the following skills:

- Problem solving approach
- Strong communication skills
- Self-reliant with the ability to work as part of a team
- Experience with customer service

Qualifications/Experience
- Basic knowledge of PLC and HMI
- Use of construction site instruments (optical level, DTI, multi-metre, etc.)
Technical expert with City & Guilds or time service is required (preferably engineering / electromechanical) and / or experience in production (better from engineering sector).
