**Support Worker**

**£11.05 per hour, plus £1 extra per hour weekend enhancement**

Are you compassionate, caring and hard working?

We are currently seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team at The Wilf Ward Family Trust. You will be based in one of our amazing services - Batty Lane, which is located in Howden. As a Support Worker, you will provide care and support to individuals with various needs, helping them to live as independently as possible.

Our work environments are small and friendly, and our staff teams provide each other with all the support they need. You will get the opportunity to support amazing people to live active and independent lives. You will find yourself involved in the exciting hobbies and activities that the individuals we support love doing. You will work hard, and leave knowing that you have made a positive difference to someone’s life.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with meal preparation and medication management
- Support individuals with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Accompany individuals to appointments and community activities
- Monitor and report any changes in physical or mental health to appropriate staff members
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided
- Provide personal care to individuals, including bathing, dressing, and toileting

**Requirements**:

- A compassionate and caring nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to undergo relevant training and development
