We are looking for an enthusiastic well motivated person to supervise our Domestic Assistants at CICC, Clatterbridge Hospital. This is a 30 hour post which will include early morning/evening and weekends The hours are Friday - Monday 7.5 hours per day. You must be mobile and will be required to work as part of a team and be flexible within your working approach e.g. cover for annual leave and sickness.
1) Day to day supervision, training and development of Facilities staff, including ensuring
adequate cover for sickness, holidays etc. To visit each member of your team at least once
daily on their work area.
2) Carry out return to work interviews with staff returning from sickness absences.
3) To actively participate in and undertake projects for the Cleanliness of this Trust.
4) To co-ordinate the clinical and departmental performance weekly monitoring to achieve the
standards in line with national Standards of cleanliness and cleaning & decontamination
policy.
5) Ensure monitoring of all areas within CWP are done in line with agreed schedule as set out in
the cleaning and decontamination policy.
6) To ensure adequate stock levels are maintained on departments ensuring areas are not
overstocked and chemicals etc. are being used effectively / ordered in an appropriate way
7) To train and review all facilities staff, and deal with any performance issues with support from
the management team in line with performance management policy.

New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.
