**About the role**

We have an exciting new role in the English and Maths provision for a full time EMpower Champion. The role focus is engaging learners and being the voice of English and Maths.

This role will play a key part in supporting students with their English and Maths skills during in-class sessions and/or during scheduled drop-in sessions. Another vital component in engaging learners will be working closely with curriculum areas to follow up attendance in English and maths that will support student progression and achievement.

You will join our English and Maths team and play an integral part in supporting learners through the workshop sessions. Support and intervention work will be planned using our schemes of learning, assessment plans and resources. You will be in close communication with the English and Maths team regarding the implementation and impact of your work.

**About you**

We are looking for pro-active and enthusiastic individuals with a Level 2 or above in both English and Maths. You will be passionate about student engagement and achievement and will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills.
