Job Role;
Ideal first job or work around school and school holidays
To assist the Head Chef and sous chef in providing a high standard of catering to exceed guest expectations within the company's financial criteria.
To greet & communicate with customers and clients in a professional and courteous manner.
To promote the company at all times with a positive approach.
The Company operates a Health & Safety Policy. This is a legal requirement to ensure the Health, Safety and Welfare of all employees, customers and guests and visitors whilst on company premises
To work in a safe manner, with due diligence towards yourself, colleagues, customers and general public at all times
To ensure that fire regulations are adhered to at all times and assist with evacuation procedures, if and when required.
It is your responsibility that your timesheet is completed and submitted to your line manager, to ensure payment of wages.
To communicate with other members of your team, both internally and externally in a professional and courteous manner.
To work together with your fellow team members to produce standards of excellence within your department and aiming to exceed expectations.
You may at times be required to assist with duties not directly linked to your Job Description but commensurate with your position from time to time. Your co-operation will be appreciated but not abused.
Preparing Pizzas and desserts to company specification
To adhere to all menus and portion control as required
To record all waste as required
To report for duty as per the duty rota
To attend staff meetings/training as required
To clean work area as per cleaning schedule
To carry out any other duties as instructed by the Head Chef and Sous chef.
You have a duty to safeguard your own health and safety and that of your colleagues, customers and visitors. You also have a duty to co-operate with Management to enable it to comply with its health and safety duties.
**Requirements**:
Essential
Basic food hygiene will complete level 2 through in house online training
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent people skills
Good communication skills
