**Product Owner (Power Platform) - 3 Months Contract - Day Rate £550-£600 (Outside IR35)
The Opportunity**

Yolk Recruitment Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team has partnered with a large public sector organisation to recruit a contracted Product Owner. They are an extraordinary organisation based in Cardiff with a diverse workforce and inclusive culture.

You'll be joining a company full of passionate individuals, who take pride in their work and the business. The business itself is very proud of its ability to support, encourage, nurture, develop, and reward its staff. Your role will sit within the divisionof the company focused on driving the Technology Strategy during this 5-year period.

You'll be using your excellent communication and problem-solving skills to bring together the historically separate worlds of project delivery, IT service, and operations into one multidisciplinary team, that will be a forefront driving force for the companies'goals.

**What the Product Owner will be doing**

You will be the Product Owner for the implementation and delivery of various Power-Platform based initiatives. You will work with varied stakeholders from all over the business, from front line staff to director level colleagues in both technical and non-technicalroles. You'll be empowered to make quick decisions which will have a lasting impact on your colleagues. You will be expected to explain the rationale behind these decisions to the stakeholders to ensure all initiatives align with the business strategy.
- Development, implement and continually review the Companies' Automation strategy by engaging with stakeholders from around the business.
- Define business problems and translate these into a requirements backlog and create a backlog schedule which supports the AICC and broader strategies for technology, digital, and customer service.
- Lead and challenge business stakeholders to define a Minimum Viable Products (MVP) for automation initiatives
- Act as a Power Platform Subject Matter Expert across the business and lead the organisation in defining automation principles
- Lead and coach others on Agile ways of working and principles to ensure that business value is delivered often and value for money is achieved.

**What the successful Product Owner will bring to the team**
- Vast SCRUM experience or certified SCRUM Product Owner
- Degree or Chartered Status in a technology related discipline
- Experience of delivering projects using Agile methodologies
- Experience of Power Platform or similar Automation technology
- Experience of working with and resolving complex and conflicting business priorities

**Here's What You'll Get in Return**
