We’re seeking passionate people to join our fantastic team in providing cleaning assistance with-a-smile. This is a very important aspect in enhancing the wellbeing of our Residents. The service you will be providing will be invaluable. You will need to be able to reliably commute to work; you may need to work shifts and some weekends if necessary; you will need to be a good communicator who builds relationships on trust; you will need to be reliable, empathetic, understanding and respectful.

As Cleaning Assistant atNorley Hall Care Home, your roles & responsibilities will be:

- Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of cleaning implementation and delivery
- To supervise the cleaning and laundry services in accordance with agreed standards
- Implement actions to meet and maintain cleaning standards
- Systematically solve day-to-day problematical issues which arise
- Evaluate standards of cleaning competence
- Ensure the residents’ rights are protected
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
- Develop effective working relationships with the other employees working in the home
- Be involved in the implementation and maintenance of the service’s quality assurance programme
- Cooperate with the implementation, evaluation, orientation, and induction of all new employees
- Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
- Take responsibility for your own professional development through performance and development reviews and undertake any relevant training
- To maintain housekeeping skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may, from time-to-time, be required to maintain that currency of practice

**Working Hours**:
32 hrs per week
