Shire Healthcare are currently sourcing a Speech and Language Therapist for a permanent position based in Lancashire. The successful Speech and Language Therapist will join a specialist school supporting children and young people aged 9-18 with autism, mental health needs, sensory processing needs, neurodevelopmental needs and speech, language and communication needs.

This is a full-time, permanent position and term-time only at 38 weeks per year.

The role:

- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Managing and prioritising a complex caseload of children and young people with a variety of needs/presentations
- Completing assessments in relation to speech, language and communication needs
- Designing, implementing and evaluating interventions
- Providing training, guidance and support to the educational and residential teams in relation to speech and language therapy

The ideal Speech and Language Therapist:

- Holds a relevant Degree/Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registered
- Experience of working with a similar client group previously
