**Cover Supervisor/Support Teacher**

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher, ensuring that learning objectives are met and students stay on track with the curriculum.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and techniques to keep students engaged and actively participating in the learning process.
- Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere in the classroom where students feel safe, respected, and motivated to learn.
- Provide individualized assistance to students as needed, offering guidance and clarification to help them understand concepts and complete assignments.
- Enforce school policies and manage student behaviour effectively, addressing any disruptions or conflicts that arise in the classroom.
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and school administrators to provide updates on student progress, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise.
- Provide feedback to the regular teacher regarding student progress and behaviour, highlighting areas of improvement and success.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree or ESOL or TESOL Certificate or Equivalent
- Experience leading classes or groups, preferably within an education setting.
- Understanding of the UK Curriculum and educational standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics and behaviour.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classroom environments and with varying age groups.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to school policies and procedures.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £90.00-£115.00 per day
