The School wishes to appoint a highly motivated individual to join our enthusiastic and committed MBBS teaching team. This is an ideal opportunity for those wishing to further develop their experience of teaching and assessment in the field of clinical skills. You will work with the Theme Lead for Medical Skills and Quality Care on the planning, delivery and assessment of clinical skills in Years 3 and 4 including midwifery, in both the workplace and the classroom setting. You will teach clinical skills as part of the Campus Day programme and will provide mentoring and support to students from the School of Medicine within the workplace with regard to clinical placements, and clinical skills and the assessment thereof, particularly with regard to Workplace-Based Assessments (WBAs).

Utilising excellent communication skills, you will be an active networker and have the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This position is based in East Lancashire (UCLan Burnley Campus and East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust) with occasional attendance at UCLan Preston or Westlakes Campus.
