**Monday to Friday - No Nights or Weeekends**

gap technical are proud to be representing this national manufacturing company in their search for a Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to work at their facility based in Liverpool. You will be key a member of the Engineering Department whose mainresponsibility will be to Service and Maintain all on site machinery being reactive to breakdowns and using Planned Maintenance Systems

**Performance Objectives**
- Diagnosing breakdown problems
- Breakdown maintenance & repairs
- Planning and prioritising activities
- Resolving problems in an efficient manner
- Communicating and presenting data effectively
- Understanding engineering and other technical information
- Using planned preventative maintenance systems
- Follow all food hygiene and Product quality control measures
- Ensure all steps of production run smoothly and efficiently

**Person Specification**
- Proven experience as an Electrical or Multi-skilled Engineer
- Experience of food Processing, Packaging and Safety Equipment Includuing Cooking, Frying, Bagging equipment, Metal detection & Checkweigher systems,
- Apprentice Trained NVQ 3 / C&G Equivalent
- Past experience of working in a food production environment
- Positive attitude and be able to deal with challenge and change in a fast paced environment
- Good attention to detail
