Citizens Advice Basingstoke
In 2020 we won the Basingstoke Place to be Proud Charity of the year and were also named as unsung heroes in the COVID-19 Hero Award. In 2021 we were nominated and won the Inspire Business Employer of the Year Award. We are a friendly team of both volunteers and staff who support the local community by providing free, independent and impartial advice to individuals and families in need.

The Role
Reporting to our CEO. This is a part-time post 22.5 hours per week. You will contribute to the running of our charity by raising our profile and increasing our income. You should be passionate about giving effective service to people in need, have excellent communication skills, and have the enthusiasm and drive to find new opportunities.

Key tasks include:

- To promote the work of our charity, generate additional income, and attract volunteers from a range of backgrounds
- Assist the CEO and Trustees to meet our annual goals and identify and deliver new initiatives

Terms of Appointment
Normal office hours are Monday to Friday, 9-5. Some flexibility may be required to meet business requirements.

Holiday allocation is 33 days per annum inclusive of Bank Holidays (pro rata).
