Junior Qc Microbiologist

I am currently recruiting for a Junior QC Microbiologist to work at a state-of-the-art laboratory based north of Southampton. **The microbiologist would be responsible for undertaking microbiological analysis to support the manufacture of licensed pharmaceutical products for GMP compliance and to write quality documentation relating to microbiological testing.

**Junior QC Microbiologist Responsibilities**:

- Operate the QC laboratory to relevant safety standards
- Ensure that all tests and analysis have been recorded in compliance with GMP standards
- Microbial testing of samples
- Verify analytical raw data and release results from the QC Microbiological department
- Prepare Environmental Monitoring consumables for Production areas and perform Environmental Monitoring when required

**Junior QC Microbiologist Requirements**:

- Degree educated in relevant field or relevant working experience
- Must have practical experience in a laboratory environment
- Knowledge and experience of microbiology
- Experience working to GMP standards is preferable
