**Compliance Engineer, Poole, £50,000**

**Role Purpose**

As **Compliance Engineer** you will act as the company **expert**, **offering guidance on industry regulations** whilst implementing and **managing the legal compliance program.** You will focus on global safety standards in the manufacturing industry.

**As Compliance Engineer you'll**:

- Be the **regulator** of legislative **compliance and product safety**, ensuring all parts meet industry standards
- Maintain and **update approvals / certifications** to latest industry standards
- Perform detailed **inspections** and **testing of products**, generating reports to use in manuals
- Maintain the **product compliance database**, creating technical files as relevant
- Ensure knowledge and understanding of current compliance regulations and directives

**Your skills and experience will include**:

- **Compliance and/or health & safety experience** in an **electronic/electrical manufacturing environment**:

- Professional document and **report writing skills**:

- Formal **qualification in electrical/electronic engineering**:

- Ability to **understand technical diagrams** and component functions
- Accurate and methodical approach to work, with high attention to detail
