**About The Role**:
**Overall, Purpose of the Role**:

- To work as a team, responsible for the efficient and timely preparation of quality service.
- To assist in the clearing of meals and beverages for client company employees and guests.
- To always maintain a high quality of hygiene standards.

You will be working Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 06:30 to 16:00, 19.3 hours per week.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role**:

- Maintain contract health & safety, and hygiene standards in line with current legislation.
- Ensure that due diligence records are completed and maintained.
- Adhere to company policy on dealing with customer comments.
- To comply with company and client polices and procedures.
- Ensure that customers receive a prompt and courteous service at all times.
- Ensure personal appearance, including uniform are of the highest standards at all times in line with company policy.
- To work in all areas across the site including catering outlets, kitchens and Costa Kiosks as requested by the General Manager and Head chef.

**Health & Safety Duties**:

- Participate in any communication activities through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure that there is a free flow of
- ideas.
- Ensure that the OCS safety image is reflected positively through your actions
- Ensure that you have received the necessary training so that you can competently carry out your duties and responsibilities.
- Acknowledge and accept a personal responsibility for safety.
- Take responsibility for reviewing the safe system of work prior to the commencement of the work activity.
- Take responsibility for ensuring that plant and equipment is maintained and fit for purpose.
- Raise any concerns over Health & Safety breaches in accordance with Company Procedure.
- Group Safety Support: You will be required to work closely with the Group Health and Safety team who are available to provide safety advice and support. Furthermore you will be required to ensure that safety initiatives are implemented within your areas of control.

**Details of the Role**:

- To ensure that all clients and customers and dealt with promptly and courteously according to company standards.
- Prepare counter to the standard laid out by the management.
- Serve all food and beverages at the specified times and in the appropriate quantities.
- Ensure sound knowledge of the food served daily together with the portion size.
- Ensure tables, chairs, trolleys and floors are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Assist with the washing up of light equipment.
- Assist in the preparation of food.
- Clean all areas of food preparation and service using the nominated cleaning schedules
- Ensure that floor and wall surfaces are kept clean to the prescribed height.
- Maintain full compliance with ISO9002 & ISO14001 requirement for which you have responsibility
- To perform any other duty which may be reasonably required by your line manager or the company.

**Requirements**:

- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
- Basic food hygiene. A knowledge of health and safety.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- A good team player.
- The ability to work using their own imitative.
- Ability to follow policy and procedures 13.
- Willingness to bring concerns to corporate attention via prescribed channels.
- Flexible Working.
