**_ About the role_**

A UK wide role, the civils teams are responsible for all on site construction work, implementation of large Telecoms projects, roll outs and unified communication technologies. The civils supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all site work is carried out in a satisfactory manner, efficiently, whilst following all Health & Safety regulations, managing a small team of civils operatives.

**_ Key duties &_** **_responsibilities_**

You will drive the project forward with your team, lead them in ensuring high quality & standards are achieved at all times whilst completing all civils works across the business as required,

As the supervisor you will follow processes, with responsibility for the company assets & plant assigned for duties. You will also be able to problem solve & troubleshoot any issues, escalating to the contract Manager where applicable.

Other duties also include:

- Complete milestone progress reports supported by photographs are maintained.
- Ensure Operatives in team are compliant in approved working practices.
- Complete POW and maintain visitors log.
- Ensure the site is set up in full accordance with standards.
- Adherence to safe dig practices at all times.
- Ensure plant and equipment is used correctly and is all in correct working order, calibrated in date where required.
- Risk assessing and hazard identification.

**_Who are we looking for?_**

Reporting to the Head of Civils, you will show good leadership skills and experience. Capable of completing all aspects of civils works in the construction of telecoms infrastructure build. Whilst having relevant plant operator tickets along with the capabilities and competency in the use of mechanical civils equipment.

We are also looking for someone with the following:

- Competent in all telecoms passive works
- Competent in the use of mechanical civils equipment
- Experience in all aspects of formwork/ducting/re-instatement in various surface types
- Experience in network installations new greenfield tower base works

In order to attend site we would also require the following which if required can be obtained in house.
- Manual Handling
- Asbestos Awareness
- RF Awareness
- Rooftop Safety and Access (if a rooftop site)
- First Aid

This is a UK wide role, visiting sites, you must therefore have a full driving license with a maximum of 6 pts. only.
