Brick Mason

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Brick Layer 2 and 1 squad to start immediately on site in Hexham. We are offering a great rate of pay, you must be CSCS registered and fully qualified.

**Duties**:

- Lay bricks in a systematic pattern to construct or repair walls, chimneys, and other structures
- Mix mortar or other adhesives to bind bricks together
- Use hand tools such as trowels, levels, and hammers to shape and align bricks
- Cut bricks to size using saws or specialized tools
- Inspect work to ensure it meets specifications and quality standards
- Repair or replace damaged bricks or structures as needed
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Brick Mason or similar role
- Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and materials
- Proficient in using hand tools such as trowels, levels, hammers, etc.
- Familiarity with power tools used in masonry work
- Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans
- Basic welding skills preferred but not required

**Skills**:

- Excellent bricklaying skills with attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques related to masonry work
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 12 weeks

Pay: £17.80-£25.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: On the road
