Working as a key member of the sheetfed team, you will assist in making ready, running, and maintaining the cut & crease machine in a safe manner, whilst ensuring optimum output to a high-quality standard. Conduct ancillary tasks to maintain the cut & crease machine with raw materials and sundries.

**Specific Responsibilities**
- Assist the department to achieve target run speeds and obtain optimum performance. Follow Pecas plan and coordinate material supply with the forklift driver.
- Produce Pecas tickets for scrap, rejected or returned loads and to secure loads prior to removal from area.
- Assist in the preparation of subsequent jobs and during make readies to achieve efficient change over between jobs, minimizing lost production time.
- Ensure machine area is kept clean and tidy. Help machine crews to achieve efficient running and cover meal breaks.
- Carry out all duties in a safe and efficient manner whilst conforming to H&S procedures.
- Undertake Behavioural Based Safety (BBS) training.
- Present loads to press to the highest standard to generate high quality and efficient production.
- Input Pecas information accurately for all load details and report any shortages or material problems.
- Perform a timely and thorough handover with the oncoming shift to include safety, plan, machine condition and quality.
- Participate and contribute to all activities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and lean initiatives.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a similar role, or an understanding of what is involved.
- Good standard of education required.
- Full working knowledge of Bobst Machinery.
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication skills essential, ability to give clear written and verbal instructions.

**Interpersonal Skills**
- Previous experience of working in a Manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of machinery and of the terms/language used in manufacturing.
- Good standard of education required.
- High level of concentration and attention to detail.
