**The Role**

A global manufacturing company are actively seeking an experienced Head of IT to join their senior leadership team as they continue to grow. Within this role you will play an important part in supporting the company's digital transformation and making sure cutting-edge technologies are leveraged to ensure the IT infrastructure remains fit for purpose. The IT budget will fall under your control and you will be expected to allocate resources effectively to meet the business's IT requirements.

You will also be responsible for leading the UK IT team which will consist of 4 IT Support Engineers and as a team will need to ensure the smooth functioning of the IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and software systems with best practices for IT operations, security, and disaster recovery needing implementing.
