Macildowie are actively seeking multiple Purchase Ledger Clerks to work for a well established business in Nottingham, NG5.

This is a full time role working 37.5 hours a week, fully flexible on start and finish times.

Temporary role working **6 months minimum** - Will be required to work from the office for the first 12 weeks - after 12 weeks there may be some flexibility to work remotely.

**Pay rate is £10.42 a hour.**

The purpose of the role is to assist the purchase ledger team with a large volume of invoices that are currently in dispute and ensuring all invoices are investigated into and the data in reconciled.

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Reconcile supplier statements to the Purchase Ledger requesting copies of invoices where necessary and the investigation and resolution of any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Processing invoices, matching and coding correctly.
- Ensure all invoices are allocated to the correct Purchase order/general ledger code.
- Work through back log of undisputed invoices.
- General adhoc duties.
- Must have good attention to detail.
- Ideally worked in purchase ledger previously dealing with high volumes of invoices.
- Good computer skills - capable of using accounting systems and excel.
