The Best Connection are working in partnership with our client based in Northallerton who are recruiting for experienced Platers. The company specialise in heavy engineering and work across a diverse range of market sectors including bridges, construction, plate girders, cranes etc.

**The role**:

- Working to technical fabrication drawings
- Completing structural steel plate work for **HEAVY** engineering
- Ability to read and understand technical fabrication drawings
- Confident in using all tools and machinery associated with structural steel plate work
- Be able to work solo or in a team
- Maintaining a safe work environment

**Hours of work**:

- Monday to Friday
- 39 hour working week - with 2 shift patterns
- Early Shift: 06.00am - 14.00pm
- Back Shift: 14:15pm - 00:15am

**Pay Rates**:

- £16.94 per hour basic rate plus shift allowance
- Early shift allowance: £10 per week (equivalent pay rate of £17.19 per hour)
- Back shift allowance: £40 per week (equivalent pay rate of £17.96 per hour)
- Overtime is available
