We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and committed individual to join our Recovery Service as part of the integrated Drug and Alcohol Treatment and Recovery Service.

Working within a high performing team, you will support people in recovery from substance misuse to fulfil their recovery goals and education, training and employment (ETE) goals.

Single Homeless Project (SHP) is one of London’s leading homelessness prevention charities and a dynamic and growing organisation changing over 10,000 lives every year across London - from supporting people in crisis, to helping them take the final steps towards independence and employment.

In this role, you will:

- Support people in recovery from substance misuse with a specific focus on obtaining employment or other activities that maximise the chances of employment, such as education, training and volunteering. To ensure clients are achieving ETE outcomes within a 12-week support period.
- Provide recovery and aftercare support through regular 1:1 assessment and goal-focused action planning sessions, as well as through facilitating group sessions, including a structured day programme.
- Maintain positive working relationships with referring agencies and ETE providers, as well as networking and brokering new opportunities.
- Lead on a designated ‘key area’ at the service which focuses upon supporting a specific client group within our service users.
