**People Advisor - Maternity Cover**

**Location**: Edinburgh BioQuarter, Little France (there may be some requirement to travel between sites from time-to-time)

**Your dream role**
- We are looking for a **People Advisor** to join our high performing HR team. **Please note - this is a maternity cover contract which we expect to be 10 months in duration.**:

- This is a generalist role and will report directly into the Head of People.
- This role will support the full employee lifecycle, taking a proactive role in the implementation of the business’ People Strategy and ensuring that best practice and employment law is followed in achieving the right outcomes.
- Manage HR systems and data, provide reports and statistics as and when required for senior colleagues, as well as ensuring data for all staff is up to date.
- Support the Head of People to deliver the business’ People Strategy.
- Provide timely advice to colleagues on the full range of employment issues.
- Proactively take steps to identify and solve people related issues.
- Manage aspects of reward for RoslinCT, ensuring pay increases, and bonus payments are implemented fairly, consistently and at the right time.
- Coordinate and proactively involved in Attendance Management procedures and processes.
- Support change management plans, including providing support for recruitment processes in conjunction with the Talent Acquisition Specialist. Ensure RoslinCT’s Continuous Performance Management process is managed across the business in the most effective way, finding ways to support managers to carry out reviews effectively and on time.

**About you**
- Experience of working in a HR Advisory/Coordinator level position.
- A proactive, positive, and forward-looking approach is essential.
- You will have excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to influence and maintain effective relationships with all staff internally.
- A good grasp of the principles of current UK employment legislation.
- Emotional intelligence, the ability to understand complexity and exercise sound judgement.
- Competent in computer packages including Microsoft Office packages.
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills with the ability to plan, schedule, and deliver results to deadline.
- Able to create a positive environment through self-awareness and social skills.
- Manage and influence stakeholders’ and customer expectations effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a real desire to continually develop and improve our processes.

**Qualifications**
- CIPD Qualification would be beneficial for this position.
