**Overview**

The European IT team is looking to hire a Business Analyst to work within our European Application Development Team.
- **Responsibilities**

Specific Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Develops, interprets, reviews, validates, documents, and maintains business and functional requirements
- Coordinates and facilitates meetings to define key capabilities and requirements
- Evaluates business requests to determine feasibility; researches and identifies options that best serve business needs.
- Provides information about how requirements may affect functional design documents
- Serves as the primary interface between the users/product management and the IT team; may be required to present formal presentations to end users, stakeholders, and management
- Conducts structured walkthroughs of requirements with business and project team members
- May fulfill the role of Scrum Master to facilitate ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint retros and sprint demos, etc.
- Participates in acceptance testing to ensure client/user needs are met. Presents information regarding enhancements and tracks and responds to questions from business and IT team members
- Writes business correspondence and technical reports; reviews report results for accuracy
- Possesses general knowledge of the IT environment and Enterprise’s lines of business. Assists with researching opportunities to minimize complexity by leveraging current IT investments and seeking out cost effective solutions
- Participates in change management activities, including testing, troubleshooting, and investigation
- Assists team with investigation of operational and support issues arising with existing products
- Maintains established service level agreements to meet customer expectations and quality standards
- Contribute to the Business Analysis community forum by discussing industry best practices and job experience that support a culture of continuous improvementProtects our customers, our employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance inall decisions and daily job responsibilities; follows security policies and procedures

**Qualifications**
- Experience in a similar role
- Working to Agile principles in teams
- Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills tailored to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge
- Experience of using standard business analysis tools and techniques

Advantageous but not essential:

- Ability to write in the GHERKIN syntax
- Experience working with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA / Microsoft’s Azure Dev Ops platform
- SQL/NoSQL queries (COSMOSdb or Azure SQL)
- Process modelling using Microsoft VISIO

**Additional Information**
- **Hours**: 40 per week, Monday to Friday
- **Location**: Remote
- **Salary**: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum experience dependent
