Security Operations Manager

You'll have an important part to play as the NHS Security Operations Manager for our Northern sites, responsible for ensuring the effective implementation Unipart Group Securitystandards in partnership within the NHS Supply Chain contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of the Group Security Management Team, reporting to the Senior Security Operations Manager, proactively reducing risk exposure to Unipart, its customers, and employees through the effective implementation of Unipart’ssecurity management framework and security standards.
**Security Operations Manager Responsibilities include:**:

- Responsible for the assurance of a safe and secure working environment though the implementation of effective Security Solutions
- To proactively reduce risk exposure through the effective implementation of security standards through a collaborative approach with all relevant internal / external stakeholders.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and value through optimized cost security solutions and security excellence performance.
- Correctly assess security risk levels and effectively implement corrective actions and progress reports for gaps identified
- Provide leadership, guidance and support to the Group Security Team including, Security Team Leaders and Security Officers.
- Safeguard the reputation of the business and customers by ensuring adequate security measures and standards are effectively maintained.

**Security Operations Manager Requirements:**
Essential
- Proven experience of effectively managing teams and individuals in challengingand complex security and risk management environments
- Proven Experience in conducting complex in depth security / criminal investigations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a challenging and constantly changing complex environment.
- Previous experience in a fast changing, results driven environment.
- Clear leadership skills, energy and passion and a 'can do' attitude.
- Flexible, agile and ability to deal with change.
- Experience in effectively managing multiple site locations and security projects.
- Excellent Excel skills required, with a keen eye for accuracy, and producing high quality reports.
- Proven Security Risk Management experience within Supply Chain;Logistics;Transportation; and Manufacturing Security environment

Desirable
- Experience of working with transport industry groups such as TAPA / AEO /C-TPAT / Aviation Security (CAA)
- Preferable formal certification as a result of courses from professional security bodies PSP / CPP / CFI / CSMP

**Contract Type**: Permanent
**Hours**: Full Time, 40 per week
**Salary**: £43,000 per annum plus car/car allowance
