Teaching Assistant

A friendly school in Whitehaven are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their KS1 team. The role will include interventions, whole class support, reading and 1:1 work too.

Mornings will consist of supporting in different KS1 classes and assisting with any interventions or support the classes need. The afternoons will be working 1:1 with a child in the nursery with SEND needs. The child needs someone reliable, pro-active and dedicated to assisting their learning in the classroom.

**The requirements for this role are**:

- GCSE English & Maths
- Preferably qualified to an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification
- Experience working with children
- Understanding of classroom procedures and policies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
