**Main Areas of Responsibility**
The purpose of your role will be:

- SLCN support and intervention for all students at the Academy who have an EHCP or who are on the SEN register.
- The provision of individualised programmes of intervention according to student need and assessment data.
- The assessment and monitoring of students with SLCN needs and ASD.
- The monitoring of assigned students on the SEN register.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Degree/Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy recognised by the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Membership of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)
- Experience or knowledge of dealing with children with ASD/ADHD/PDA/severe language disorders
- Knowledge of a range of learning barriers in addition to Speech and Language needs
- Training in/knowledge of a range of communication and teaching methods
