**Job overview**:
**The Estates Department are looking to enhance their maintenance team and would like to add a Maintenance Mechanical Supervisor to their team of staff.**

You will work with as an integrated member of the Estates team across a multi-discipline of trades.

**Main duties of the job**:

- Day to day supervision of operational staff within the Estates department and external contractors across Rochdale Care Organisations.
- Responsibility for maintaining Estates equipment, premises and plant.
- Provision of specialist and technical advice and ensuring compliance with appropriate legislation and technical memoranda.

- Experience of implementing quality controls and processes
- Experience of working in a heath care environment
- Supervisor / leadership experience

**Knowledge, Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Knowledge of health and safety matters relating to the estate and a broad understanding of statutory and mandatory requirements and procedures.
- Knowledge and understanding of operational estate management.
- Effective communicator with good written and verbal communication skills at all levels

**Physical Attributes**:

- Self-motivated, with high work standards for self and others with drive and resilience.

**Qualifications**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Time served level 3 apprenticship in a Machanical or building service discipline

**Desirable criteria**:

- HND Building services
- AP qualifications
