Nursery Practitioner

To work as part of a motivated team delivering outstanding care whilst helping to provide a fun and progressive learning environment for our children aged from 3 months to 5 years.

**Responsibilities Include**
- Working as part of a team and on an individual basis to plan and implement a suitable range of stimulating and engaging experiences for our children both indoors and outdoors, whilst promoting positive behaviour and respecting others.
- Carry out personal care routines.
- Work closely with parents keeping them informed of their child's progress on a daily basis as well as regularly reporting on their wider learning and development through care plan meetings ensuring continuity of care.
- Communicate and maintain records, reports, plans and evaluations on children's progress to a high standard and in a professional manner.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and training both internally and externally.
- Hold HNC in Childcare and Education or SCQF level 7 in Childcare
- Have a working knowledge of Realising the Ambition, Health and Social Care Standards, Curriculum for Excellence, Girfec and self evaluation documents
- Have the ability and experience to professionally communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Have practical experience of working with children and a commitment to improving outcomes for children and families
- Demonstrate patience, compassion, warmth, kindness and a sense of fun and enjoyment in your interactions with children
- Hold or will require to hold registration with SSSC and undertake PVG checks as this post is considered regulated work with children

Pay: £14,950.00-£22,724.00 per year
