**Job description**

The role of Sign Maker involves dealing with client’s requirements from the initial enquiry through to production of the final product. The role also involves discussing signage requirements, meeting the needs and budget and generating signage work for approval. You will also be responsible for the management of stock within the company via communication with our supplier, making sure equipment, PPE and signage are replenished for future jobs that become available.

You will deal with a wide variety of work and requirements. It is an interesting and varied role with day-to-day contact with our Contract Managers and Administrative Team to prepare and process any signage that is required.

You must be flexible, enthusiastic, well organised, able to work on your own initiative, a great team player and have an understanding of the importance of health and safety.

**Key Tasks**
- Provide creative signage solutions to customers to meet their requirements and budget.
- Provide artwork using Adobe Illustrator for customer approval.
- Communicating information and orders to colleagues and suppliers.
- Working to source and specify supplies and materials as required.
- Follow up on orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide support and expertise, as required, in production and installation of all aspects of customer signage requirements.
- Any other duties as required by Contract Manager / Managing Director.

**Preferred Skills and Attributes**
- An understanding of relevant software design packages (including Adobe Illustrator)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £100.00-£125.00 per day

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD/Illustrator: 1 year (required)
