An opportunity has arisen within TaxAssist Support Centre as our friendly team based in Norwich on the Broadland Business Park continues to expand. This is a new role **Compliance Support Officer**.

**The Company**:TaxAssist are a multi award winning Franchisor and employer. TaxAssist Accountants is the UK’s largest network of accountants specialising in servicing the needs of small businesses and self-employed individuals.

**The Role**:This role is to provide comprehensive support to our Head of Group Compliance (HoGC) to ensure the Group manages information, governance and compliance appropriately. This will include:

- Supporting the HoGC with:

- Management of Group Data Protection compliance
- Management of Anti-Money Laundering compliance processes for the Group
- Compliance based queries from franchisees
- Collating and reporting on compliance data provided by franchisees
- Carrying out due diligence on service providers and maintaining relationships
- Compliance support to Group companies where appropriate
- Managing ad-hoc projects as directed by the GHoC
- Assisting in preparing internal and external communications.
- Monitoring and updating internal Support Site guidance and information.
- Collating and inputting management information
- Building a professional rapport with Franchisees, Clients, Colleagues and strategic compliance partners, professional bodies and regulatory/supervisory bodies.
- Any other reasonable tasks commensurate with experience and capabilities as directed by the HoGC.

**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**
- Experience within a similar compliance administration role, preferably 3 years in a professional industry.
- Confidence working with legal documentation; contracts, letters of engagement
- Dynamic time management to ensure timely workload delivery including concurrent projects.
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels with excellent written, verbal and listening skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good computer literacy including Office365.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
