Activities Coordinator

**Job Overview**:
**Duties**:

- Plan, organize, and oversee a variety of recreational activities for residents in a nursing home or assisted living setting
- Develop programs tailored to meet the physical, mental, and emotional needs of seniors, including those with dementia
- Coordinate outings, events, and social gatherings to promote socialization and overall well-being
- Collaborate with staff to integrate activities into the overall care plan for residents
- Maintain records of participation and feedback to continuously improve activity offerings

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within a nursing home or assisted living facility
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Knowledge of senior care principles and dementia care best practices
- Creativity and compassion to design activities that cater to varying interests and abilities
- Certification or training in activities coordination or related field is a plus

**Job Types**: Temporary contract, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.00-£12.01 per hour
