We are seeking to appoint two reliable and flexible School Minibus Drivers to join our team of wonderful staff: curious, creative and collaborative colleagues that anchor us to our community foundations. Our minibus drivers are responsible for picking up and dropping off learners at the beginning and end of the school day on a shift basis and are key to the smooth running of the school. They will work flexibly as part of a team, ensuring all bus driving shifts are covered each week, covering various local routes and carrying out necessary checks on vehicles when needed. Our Minibus drivers are reliable, kind, self-motivated and trustworthy. They contribute to the effective attendance of our learners and support our positive learner centred ethos.

As a member of the Minibus team, you will be expected to be punctual and flexible and communicate effectively with learners and staff. You will be responsible for transporting our learners within the local area to and from school safely and on time. You will be an experienced driver and hold a clean drivers licence, with the ability to drive a minibus. An awareness of safeguarding policies and practices is preferred, however appropriate training will be given.

**You will need to demonstrate the following qualities/skills**
- Qualified to drive a Minibus or willing to undertake training to do so
- Well organised and reliable
- Have a sound knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
- Flexible, self-motivated and a great work ethic
- Able to manage the challenges that come with working with young people with patience and a smile
- Have a clean drivers licence

The nature of the post requires the willingness to work to a flexible roster as directed by the Line Manager or Transport Administrator for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.18 per hour

Expected hours: 21.25 per week
