**People Partner**

Location: Gateshead/Flexible/Hybrid

You will partner with key stakeholders within the construction business in order to lead in the delivery of effective end-to-end HR services to act as a key enabler to the Robertson Construction Group and regional businesses, ensuring the effective delivery of proactive, business focused HR support and advice.

**What you’ll do**:
As a People Partner you'll

Work in partnership and build effective relationships with key business stakeholders in order to ensure the delivery of a robust end-to-end HR service and support the execution of the Robertson People Strategy.- Work in partnership and build effective relationships with key business stakeholders in order to ensure the delivery of a robust end-to-end HR service and support the execution of the Robertson People Strategy.
- You’ll be the first point of contact for all matters within your business regions and necessary to understand the full HR functions scope of work, engaging with specialists within the team as required to support the business needs.
- You will work closely and influence senior stakeholders within your business regions, developing close professional relationships in order to support their region to achieve their strategic goals, with the support of the HR function.
- You will develop a deep knowledge and understanding of each business region and how they operate in order to provide strategic guidance and support.
- You will support the People Leaders to understand and implement policies and procedures in line with best practice in people management.
- Day to day you’ll be coaching, advising (and in some instances educating) our People Leaders on the full spectrum of people related / employee relations matters.
- You will support and coach the HR advisor in providing strong Employee Relations advice and managing cases appropriately.
- You’ll take the lead role in the oversight of all employee relations activity in your regions, ensuring that our senior stakeholders, People Leaders and the HR Advisors are aligned and have a clear sense of direction and ownership.

**Who we’re looking for**:
To be successful in this role you’ll need previous experience in a HR advisory role with a track record in Employee Relations.

You’ll have a degree or equivalent, be a Chartered or Graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development or relevant qualification or willing to work towards.

You’ll also be commercially aware, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be great at planning and prioritizing and have the ability to cope under pressure.

You should also have Full UK driving license and willingness to travel**.**
