Today, as a member of the Luxury Scotland, Fonab Castle continues to offer an unrivalled array of attractions, including 5-star luxury accommodation, some of the best dining experiences in Scotland, the health spa, and an exhilarating array of outdoor activities. Today our magnificent Castle has 42 bedrooms and recently undertaken a 3-million-pound development.

**The Role**:

- Provide an efficient and friendly check in and out service to all guests
- Answer telephone calls promptly and direct calls efficiently
- Complete end of shift procedures
- Assist the Reception Manager with all management of the reception team, ensuring the smooth running of all reception operations
- Ensure that guests receive an efficient, friendly, consistent, and personalised service from yourself and all members of the shift team
- Provide assistance with management of all statutory and company regulations relating to health & safety, hygiene, fire and emergency procedures
- Process out of hours reservations enquiries
- Provide hotel and local information to guests as required
- Assist the reservations team with administration as required
- Assist in hotel fire evacuations.
- Carry out any additional duties required by the Reception Manager.

**The Person**:

- No qualifications necessary, however a basic understanding of Maths and English is required
- Strong customer service skills, an attention to detail and good communication skills are vital
- Must be smart and well presented
- Ability to work well as a member of the team and hotel family
- Committed to professional excellence.
