Tour Coordinator

Founded in 1986, IBT Travel is a long-established tour operator based in Prestwick, Scotland. The company has evolved into one of the UK’s leading school tour operators, specialising in the organisation of educational and snow-sports trips for UK-based Primary and Secondary schools.

In the past 15 years, the company has also developed a strong North-American clientele for Golf tours to the UK, Ireland and Spain, working with golf professionals and their club members.

As the company is growing in both School and Golf travel, we are looking for a flexible Tour Coordinator to join our busy Operations Department on a full time, permanent basis.

Main tasks:

- To administer each tour allocated to you from the moment of confirmation
- To build and maintain good working relationships with all clients
- To deal with all client queries in conjunction with the Sales Team
- To build and maintain good working relationships with all suppliers
- To handle any changes to the tours through communications with suppliers
- To achieve all deadlines throughout the preparation of the tours
- To produce outstanding Final information on our partner App Vamoos

You will be reporting to our Administration Managers.
- At least 3 years experience in an administrative role
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Great attention to detail
- Strong IT skills including all Microsoft Office packages
- Good telephone manner
- Flexibility to work overtime if required, given the appropriate notice
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Confident to use your own initiative
- Hard working and motivated

Additionally, the following skills would be a bonus:

- Foreign language - Spanish, Italian, German or French
- Previous experience in the Travel Industry
