Our client are a well-established firm of Independent Financial Planners who are based in the Birmingham area, as a result of their ongoing growth they now have an excellent opportunity for a for an experienced IFA Administrator to join their buoyant and family oriented organization.

The Role will involve providing Administrative support to 2 Advisors and working alongside a team of Paraplanners, our Client encourage and are supportive surrounding development and offer funding for Industry related exams.

Purpose of the role:
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
" To work with the paraplanners and financial advisers in supporting all of the financial planning and advice process which includes requesting and collating information.
" Development of a professional one-to-one working relationship with your allocated financial adviser and adapting to their workstyle.
" To be able to build and develop product and market awareness to ensure all relevant legislative and procedural changes are complied with
" Updating IO client management software and systems to keep all records accurate and up to date
" To carry out basic office tasks such as stationary ordering to support the firm
" To highly any areas of business risk within your team to your line manager
" To maintain and implement your own personal development plan
" To support the practice director and the team in the development and delivery of all processes and documentation
" Any other additional duties or project required by the firm
" Manage own workload and ensure work is completed in a timely manner and to a high standard
" Producing good quality, consistent and compliant work

What we need from you:
" At least 6 months experience (industry or training) within an IFA practice or financial institution
" Grade B or above in GCSE Maths & English
" The desire to study for professional exams to reach level 4 diploma
" IT Skills with experience in the financial services back-office systems
" Good level of competence in written, oral and mathematical skills
" Sound analytical skills
" Self-organisation and methodical with good planning skills and good attention to detail
" Efficient time management skills
" Excellent interpersonal skills
